Ah, I love a woman who knows just what women want … bargains! And, you know to get Christmas shopping done as quickly and easily, and cheaply as possible.
(Or, if you are me, you’d just like someone else to do it for you, but anyhoo …)
After 35 years in the warehouse sales industry, and expert bargain hunters, the lovely Alicia and her Mum created Melbourne Warehouse Sales.
Essentially, they’ve managed to talk warehouses, who are usually closed to the public, into allowing we mere mortals in to buy stuff on special Melbourne Warehouse Sales Days. Hurrah!
Several of these days are happening this weekend!
Seven to be exact, this Saturday the 8th December, including:
Melbourne Toy Warehouse (Reservoir) –thousands of big name toy brands in the one spot. Apparently it’s the biggest and cheapest toy warehouse around.
Quality Children’s Clothing (Preston) – with quality kids clothing starting from a mere $1.00 … and they’re open Sunday as well
Classica Kitchenware (East Brunswick) – with all the equipment you need to create the perfect Christmas feast for the family and hangers on. And I’m fairly sure you can use it every day, even if it’s not Christmas, so there’s a bonus right there.
Bambis Homewares (East Brunswick) – Contemporary homeware and furnishings from up to 70% off retail prices and presents for the growed up people on your present list covered!
Natio Cosmetics Clearance (Abbotsford) – Save up to 75% on well known brands, look fab on Christmas morning, even if you’ve been up all night assembling a bike. Use whatever you purchase for school drop-offs and give the impression you’re totally with it.
The Linen Factory (Brunswick) – all your linen-y needs, sheets, pillowcases, underblankets and mattress protectors, table cloths, place mats and tea towels you can use not only as Christmas gifts, but strong hints to give you a hand after the Christmas feast you prepared earlier.
Social Club Books (Collingwood) – a huge range of cookbooks by your fave celeb chefs, and a bigger range of books for kids, adults and everyone in between. Good excuse to chill in the post Christmas days.
And then there’s the Wine Liquidation Centre – who understand your needs very clearly. They’re happening from Friday the 7th to Sunday the 9th of December, with massive discounts on an excellent range of surplus wines from well known and boutique wineries.

And, if you don’t mind, while you’re there, can you do all my Christmas shopping for me? Ta.
